Project of Environmental Education Certification Application Capacity Plan

Inviting specialists and authorities convene the “Environmental Education Council Meeting” to discuss the rating systems of environmental education facility sites and the accented items. This year planned counselling and trainings. The former aimed to those facility sites and relevant authorities willing to apply certifications to hold the “Environmental Education Certified Application Counselling” to provide the environmental education law, certified explanations, communications and the information of year counselling. This year has been held four sessions in National Taiwan Museum Nanmen Park on 10th May, in Taiwan Performing Arts Museum on 13th May, in Taichung Metropolitan Park on 16th May and in Kaohsiung Takaohill Ecology Education Center on 24th May with total attendances of 185. The latter aimed to hold the “Environmental Education Certified Application Training”. The lessons were introduction to environmental & environmental education, resource inventory and tools, environmental education materials & teaching, environmental learning needs assessment & curriculum development, environmental education curriculum & design activity and group trial and performance. Four have been held on Guandu Nature Park, Hakka Affairs of Liudui Hakka Cultural Park, National Museum of Natural Science and YongAn Community Environmental Education Park from 22th June to 15th July, 2016.Assisting 80 units and 102 people trained. Also, the units completed the rating classes and attended the counselling plans before this year can apply specialists on site visit. Accomplished 38 units, 50 site visits and eight check & return counsel(abbreviation of 甲), 16 tracking counsel(abbreviation of 乙) and 26 training counsel(abbreviation of 丙) . Evaluate the conditions of facility sites and enhance the class programs, management proposals, certified guides, applications arrangement and documents preparation. The evaluate consults are two for continuous observation, nineteen for potentials, eleven for progressing positively and six for ready to hand. Recommendations 1.Organize training lesson discussion meetings to formulate the teaching consensus in the north, centre, south and east. 2.Edit class schemes and manuals according to different types of facility sites. 3.Provide manuals of management proposals. 4.Arrange referral meetings to solve the problems of guidance in follow-up local supporting systems. 5.Build the certified standards and consensuses on environmental education facility sites. 6.Rate the certification of environmental education facility sites and to simplify the application making. 7.Progress the quality and comprehensive evaluations in national environmental education facility sites to set up the subsequent directions and emphasis.
